Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Converlay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the application.

2. Description of Service

Converlay is a Shopify application that provides server-side event tracking. It captures storefront events and forwards them to your configured advertising platforms (Google Analytics 4, Meta, TikTok, and other supported platforms) via server-side APIs.

3. Account and Access

Access to Converlay requires an active Shopify store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and any API credentials entered into the application.

4. Subscription Plans

Converlay offers the following plans:

  • Free: Up to 2,000 events per month at no cost.
  • Starter ($39/mo): Up to 50,000 events per month.
  • Professional ($99/mo): Up to 250,000 events per month.
  • Scale ($249/mo): Up to 1,000,000 events per month.

Billing is handled through the Shopify billing system. You may change or cancel your plan at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are subject to Shopify's billing policies. When you reach your plan's event limit, additional events will not be tracked until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent event limits or billing
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Share or resell access to the application

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Converlay application, including its code, design, and documentation, are owned by Converlay. You retain full ownership of your store data, event data, and any credentials you provide. We claim no ownership over your data.

7. Data Accuracy

While Converlay strives to provide accurate event tracking, we do not guarantee 100% data accuracy. Server-side tracking improves data quality but is subject to platform API limitations and network conditions.

8. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability of the Converlay service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any data loss or tracking gaps resulting from scheduled maintenance, platform outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of Liability

Converlay is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to lost revenue from tracking discrepancies.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Converlay harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of Converlay at any time by uninstalling the application from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Converlay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
